Founded inthe Friends of the Public Library is a nonprofit, (c)3 organization that supports the Public Library Albuquerque and Bernalillo County.

Through the sale of donated books, DVDs and CDs, some 55 volunteers and one part-time coordinator raise over $, annually to support. We are NOT accepting book donations at this time. The principal purpose of the Friends of the Library is to raise added funds for the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library so that: children and adults at all branches may enjoy programs to enrich their learning.

The Friends of the Public Library is an independent and distinct organization dedicated to the support and promotion of the programs and activities of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.

Members of the Friends of the Metropolitan Library System receive exclusive priority shopping before the sale opens to the public. We also offer ‘Buy the Box’ sales when our volunteers package and seal books by genre – buy a box of romance, mystery or children’s books – and enjoy the surprises inside.

Friends raise money to support library programs and other projects and needs beyond the limits of public funding.
